Welcome to Pivotal Breakthrough!
Pivotal Breakthrough Counseling Services has grown beyond traditional counseling into a space for clinical practice, professional growth, education, and consultation. Through counseling, clinical supervision, clinical education, and consulting, Pivotal is designed to support both the individuals seeking care and the professionals providing it.
Meet Shanice
I’m Shanice Stephenson-Walcott, a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor and Qualified Supervisor with experience in counseling, clinical leadership, supervision, and counselor education. Throughout my career, I’ve worked with clients, clinicians, and behavioral health programs across a variety of mental health settings.
My work has grown beyond the therapy room. Through advanced doctoral training in Counselor Education and Supervision, I’ve expanded my focus to include clinical supervision, education, research, professional development, and consultation while continuing to value the importance of meaningful, client-centered care.
That growth is also reflected in Pivotal Breakthrough. What began as a counseling practice has evolved into a broader professional platform where I can bring together the different areas of my experience, including counseling, supervision, clinical education, and consulting, to support both the people receiving mental health services and the professionals providing them.
At the center of my work is a simple belief: stronger clinicians and stronger systems contribute to better care. Whether I am working with a counseling client, supervising a developing clinician, providing education, or consulting with a behavioral health professional or organization, my goal is to make what we know clinically useful in real-world practice.
